E-mail message to Gen. Musharraf – President of Pakistan PDF Print E-mail

General Pervez Musharraf,
Chief Executive and President of Pakistan,
Islamabad, Pakistan.

Subject: Agra Summit - Pakistan and India – July 2001

Dear General Pervez Musharraf,

Assalamo-Alaikum. May Allah always bless you, your family and Pakistan. Amen.

In the last two years, I have written several letters to you and have made two trips to Pakistan with the specific intention of meeting you but both efforts produced no response from your Excellency. You may have received (through the Pakistani Ambassador, Col. Ajab Khan and Ms. Z. Jalal) at least three packages containing a set of appeal letters concerning my ONE-MAN MISSION FOR MUSLIM UNITY, so, you already know about me. I am sending this e-mail message simply to make a comment about your meeting with the Indian leadership, as follows:

Your performance in India reminds me of Quaid-I-Azam, because you spoke in an honest, straightforward and blunt manner and remained focused on the Kashmir conflict – the source of all problems between Pakistan and India. You performed brilliantly and made Pakistan and Pakistanis proud. Indians wanted to trap you (cross-border terrorism) but you knew how to deal with them – you adopted a policy of honesty and it was the most effective course of action. If you stay on this course of honesty, I am sure you will be the next Quaid-i-Azam or Pakistani Salahuddin. As I have mentioned in my letters to you, please don't worry about the criticism of the WEST or EAST, and keep an absolute FAITH in Allah that HE is your protector and best friend. Please continue to clean up Pakistan of corrupt politicians and others and do not abandon Pakistan till you have achieved your goals – no matter what others say. Pakistan must learn to stand on its own feet and not depend on loans from the western institutions, like IMF.  Please remember that Pakistan's SILENT MAJORITY, inside and outside, is with you, so continue your devotional efforts to put Pakistan on a firm footing. I am sure that you will be successful. May Allah keep you healthy, safe, happy and prosperous.

Thanks and warm regards. Sincerely,
