Dr. M. A. Cheema,
13155 Gremoor Dr.,
Elm Grove, WI 53122.

Dear Dr. Cheema,

Assalamo-Alaikum. May Allah surround you and your family with the Blessings of Ramadan and    continue His Blessings during the Eid holidays and beyond. Ameen. I hope all is well with you.

I launched my ONE-MAN MISSION FOR MUSLIM UNITY in 1995 and made a commitment to myself that the MISSION will remain the main focus of my life. From time to time I have sent you my appeal letters in order to keep you informed about the Mission and related activities for other Muslim causes. During the last four years, many of the Muslim leaders have directly or indirectly asked me to open a chapter or join their respective organizations in one capacity or the other. Although I am a paid member of most of the top Political and Religious organizations in north America and have occasionally made a small additional monetary contribution to them, I have respectfully declined to take any special responsibility because of the commitment to  my One-Man Mission for Muslim Unity. Anyway, I am grateful to those who have expressed such interest.

I enclose for your information and reading pleasure the latest example of a very ambitious and timely project - An Appeal to United States Congress to help end Palestinian Suffering - that I have just completed. In order that you may get a true feel of  my dedication and passion for the Palestinian Project and the hard work involved in its completion, I am sending you the appeal letters in the same way as sent to all the 99 Senators ( the 100th Senator John Chafee died in October) and to all the 435 House of Representatives (Congressmen/Congresswomen,)  that is, by priority mail with delivery confirmation. In addition to that, I have also included the correspondence on three other simultaneous projects - a) to arrange a Unity meeting of all 26 Imams of the Dallas Fort Worth area b) to arrange a meeting with Chief Executive General Pervez  Musharraf of Pakistan and make travel arrangements for the trip to Pakistan, and c) to speak and distribute copies of the letter - A Message To Muslim Students -  to a selected group of students in the University, college and schools in Pakistan where I obtained my education. I feel that it is very important to encourage and  motivate the younger generation of Muslims because they will be our  future leaders. (I was greatly impressed by the students interest in my message.)

The above-mentioned explanation is not designed for any self-promotion but simply to inform you that I am deeply devoted to my projects and the MISSION. I am doing all this work alone and no family member or anybody else is helping me in my solitary efforts for the Muslim causes; and that is why I call it as my ONE-MAN MISSION FOR MUSLIM UNITY. Thanks and warm regards.
