October 27, 1999.

Dr. Khalid Aftab,
Principal, Government College Lahore,
Katchery Road, Lahore, Pakistan,

Dear Dr. Khalid Aftab,

Assalamo-Alaikum. May Allah's blessings be always with you, your family, Government College and Pakistan, Amen. You will recall that I had written a letter to you on February 27, 1997 (copy enclosed) concerning my request to arrange a meeting with the senior students of the Government college so that I could share with the students the main objectives and ideas about my ONE-MAN MISSION FOR MUSLIM UNITY. In spite of your best efforts, the meeting could not take place because the students were busy in their examinations. I will appreciate if you could provide me an opportunity to address the Faculty members and senior students of the college at a meeting in the campus. The basic theme of my short speech will be to motivate and encourage the younger generation who are going to be the future leaders of the Muslim world. I have made a commitment to myself that I will focus my remaining life on one idea which is to find a leader or a group of leaders who will lead Muslims to UNITY. Let me briefly explain:

Dear Dr. Sahib, in every mans life there comes a time when certain events trigger something in his heart - a spiritual experience - that transform his life. I don't know about you but for me, it was the events of Bosnian tragedy and the bravery of Chechens that created a storm in my heart that induced me to launch in early 1995 my ONE-MAN MISSION for MUSLIM UNITY. In the last five years, I have visited Indonesia and Malaysia and have appealed to President Soeharto and Dr. Mahathir Mohamad to accept the leadership of the Muslim world but they will neither say yes nor no to my appeals or the appeals of thousands of Muslims of north America. Also, I have traveled to many cities in U.S.A. and Canada, in connection with the Unity Mission, and have met top Muslim scientists, Doctors, Professionals, Religious leaders and intellectuals. There is a general feeling among these north American Muslims that our people will continue to suffer all over the world unless we are United and there is a Muslim leader or a group of Muslim leaders who are willing to commit themselves to guide the DESTINY of die Muslim world, either through the resources of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) or through the United Nations. I enclose for your information and reading pleasure a few selected copies of the latest appeal letters concerning my ONE-MAN mission for Muslim Unity and related activities for other Muslim causes, I have completed my work with the leaders of Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei, and now I want to move on to the next phase, that is , to approach the Muslim leaders of Pakistan and Middle East with the same purpose to appeal them to lead the Muslim world to Unity. Pakistan is my first stop because as a student I was involved in its Independence Movement, and as such I have a special right to speak to Pakistan's current and future leaders. With this objective in mind, I have planned a trip to Pakistan. I will be in Sialkot from November 12, 1999 through November 18, 1999, and the requested meeting can be arranged anytime during that period, preferably November 14 or November 15, 1999. My contact in Sialkot will be Mr. Mohammad Ishaq. Mr. Ishaq's Telephone Number in village Chitti Sheikhan is (432) 263-998. Please let him know if it will be possible for you to arrange a meeting as requested. I will appreciate if you could invite Dr. Israr Ahmed (Ameer Tanzeem-e-Islami Lahore) and Dr. Javed Iqbal ( son of Allama Iqbal) to the meeting If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at my home number in Dallas ( Piano is a suburb of Dallas.) Thanks for your consideration and cooperation. Best Regards,
